International Baptist College and Seminary, located in Chandler, Arizona exists to “Mentor God-fearing Leaders into Ministry.” At the IBCS@W Teaching Site, located in Westminster, Colorado, students are both a part and a fulfillment of this mission!

Students at the IBCS@W Teaching Site can expect a quality education; one founded on unapologetic Christian beliefs, on a grammatical-historical-dispensational hermeneutic, on a fundamental heritage, and on the God-ordained value of the local church. Master of Arts in Ministry (M.A.Min.)

The Master of Arts in Ministry (M.A.Min.) degree is designed to equip students to be more effective servants and leaders. It is also designed to provide an introduction to the Master of Divinity program for men preparing for pastoral-level ministry leadership. The M.A.Min. consists of a core of practical ministry classes with ample electives to meet the students’ individual needs. A full-time student can complete the degree in as little as two years, including winter and summer terms.

Master of Divinity (M.Div.)

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree is the standard professional seminary degree for those training for pastoral-level leadership in the local church or in missionary, chaplaincy, or evangelistic ministries. It consists of 96 hours of graduate credit designed to provide a broad range of studies, primarily in the areas of Bible, Theology, and Practical Ministry. A full-time student can complete the program in as little as four years including winter and summer terms.

Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.)

The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) is designed for pastors and church workers with a minimum of two years ministry experience. The program schedule accommodates those in full-time ministry.

At our learning site in Colorado, courses are taken by a video conferencing system that allows live interaction with your instructor and fellow classmates. The technology includes the ability to follow the instructor’s PowerPoint and other electronic teaching tools.

How Do I Sign-Up?

Begin by completing the application process, a requirement for each student taking courses at our teaching location. The application process is completed through the Admissions Office at the seminary headquarters in Chandler, Arizona.

Do I contact the church?

All course registration and general administration is conducted through the offices at the headquarters in Chandler, Arizona. Once the admissions process is complete, the offices will inform IBCS@W. You will communicate directly with the site for more information pertaining to the site’s operations once these two steps are complete.

Where do I send my coursework?

Completed coursework may be submitted directly to the course professor as instructed at the beginning of each course.

Tuition & Fees

The regular tuition and fees apply to courses attended at all locations. Billing, Financial aid, and all financial transactions are processed through the offices at the headquarters in Chandler, Arizona.

Pastor Larry Ball’s involvement with IBCS began when he became the General Director of International Baptist Missions in 2010. In 2012, his involvement at the college increased when he accepted the role of Interim President while the Governing Board and Administration searched for a new President He continues to serve as the General Director of IBM and brings his passion for missions into our classrooms.

Dr. Andrew Hudson

Dr. Andrew Hudson spent two years as the youth pastor at First Baptist Church in New Ulm, Minnesota before beginning his ministry in education. From 1989 to 1993, he was Elementary Chapel Coordinator at Fourth Baptist Christian School in Minneapolis. He was an adjunct professor for both Central Baptist Theological Seminary (Minneapolis) and Central Baptist Seminary (Arad, Romania) during the years of 1993-1996. He was Associate Professor and later Chair for the Division of Biblical Studies at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College from 1996 until 2008.

Dr. Hudson and his wife, Deborah, have three children, Elizabeth, Jason, and Seth.

Dr. David Shumate

Dr. David Shumate, came to know the Lord while in Harvard Law School through the witness of a Christian classmate. He felt the call to full-time ministry, and after finishing his law degree, attended Bob Jones Seminary earning his M.Div and Ph.D. With 15 years of assistant pastoral experience, he became the general director of Mexican Gospel Mission in 2005. Last year he began service as the Graduate Academic Officer for IBCS.

With twenty-eight years of experience as a senior pastor, Dr. William Senn presently pastors Tri-City Baptist Church in Westminster, Colorado, where he has served since 2002. He is currently involved as a governing board member of International Baptist College and Seminary as well as an adjunct professor in the seminary. In addition to IBCS, Dr. Senn is an adjunct professor at Bob Jones University and Northland International University where he teaches on both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Dr. Senn founded Cross Impact Campus Ministries and serves as the current president. He has also authored several books including Taking the Cross of Christ to the Campus, Colorado Snow, The Ploughman’s Sower and Harvest Series, and The Ploughman’s Manual and Journal.

Married for over thirty years, Dr. Senn and his wife Allissa have three sons: John, Jim, and Ben.

Pastor Michael Sproul

Over 20 years of pastoral experience, as well as over 15 of teaching, have prepared Dr. Michael Sproul to share invaluable practical knowledge.

Since 1999 Dr. Sproul has served as the Senior Pastor of Tri-City Baptist Church in Chandler, Arizona, with a congregation of approximately 675. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he is heavily involved in the multiple ministries housed at the multi-million dollar Tri-City campus by serving as Chairman of the Board of International Baptist College and Seminary; President of International Baptist Missions; and Chairman of the Board of Tri-City Christian Academy, Time for Tots Pre-school, and the Chandler School of Fine Arts.

A 22-year veteran of the Arizona Air National Guard serving as a Wing Chaplain with the 161st Air Refueling Wing located in Phoenix, Arizona, and holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Sproul has experienced three war-time deployments: 1992, 2003, and 2011.

Additionally, Dr. Sproul served as an evangelist for three years, serves as the Arizona President of the American Association of Christian Schools, is a state representative for Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International, and has authored God’s Word Preserved.

Dr. Sproul and his wife Elma have two children: Dave, a 2011 Air Force Academy Graduate, and Sara, a 2013 Nurse Graduate.
