Semester Class Schedules

IBCS offers classes during four terms:

  • Fall term – late August through mid-December
  • Winter term – early January (two weeks)
  • Spring term – mid-January through mid-May
  • Summer term – mid-May (two weeks)

Classes meet throughout the week starting at 7:10 a.m. and finishing at 2:00 p.m. IBCS also offers several courses on Monday and Tuesday evenings during the spring and fall semesters. Winter and summer term classes last from 2-4 hours per day and provide the same amount of instruction and credit hours as a regular 15-week class. Some courses are not offered every year, and some are only offered during the two-week winter term which occurs between the regular semesters.

Undergraduate Program

The summer extension program is designed to provide fieldwork and is required of every student who expects to re-enroll at IBCS for the following fall semester. The credits earned are included in the required hours for the major. The summer extension program consists of a daily Bible and professional reading schedule and a practical assignment in a fundamental ministry. Each student’s program is individually tailored. This summer program is intended to encourage a summer “jump” rather than a possible slump.

Graduate Programs

Graduate courses are offered during three of the four terms: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Courses offered in the summer are by one or two-week increments in June.
