by Dr. Brittany Moffitt, Registrar on Oct 16, 2024
The forty-second annual Grand Canyon Hike is scheduled for April 9–11, 2025, led by Kristopher Endean, PhD.
Dr. Will Senn from Tri-City Baptist Church in Westminster, Colorado, will be joining us as the guest speaker. Dr. Senn is an avid hiker of 14,000-foot peaks in the Rocky Mountains. He will bring humor, expertise, and rich devotional insights to the outing. Dr. Senn is a current Governing Board member of IBCS and is a great friend of the college.
Two hiking options will be available:
• A Rim-to-River-to-Rim via the South Kaibab and Bright Angel trails (about 18 miles)
• A shorter hike via Bright Angel (about 8 miles)
• (Exact details subject to change based on weather and national park regulations.)
The river hike option is limited to 30 hikers. Register early if you are interested in this option.
Registration opens in January 2025, but if you would like more information and be on the early list for the hike, submit this interest form to receive a note that official registration is open and receive information on future Grand Canyon Hikes.
