Stats: 111 teens, 25 sponsors, and 21 ministries served by the students and staff of IBCS.
Res hall rooms meant for four were stuffed with nine as the IBCS students exercised hospitality.
There were moments both of hilarity and of solemn reflection, times to play and times to learn. The afternoon game, World Builder, was a Big Teach game that illustrated the futility of living for worldly pursuits when the enduring treasures are souls won for God’s kingdom. All the activities related to the theme, “Reasonable: Serving God Makes Sense." Keynote speaker Pastor Bodie Brock emphasized the theme in his message.
Everyone was worn out by the end of the conference; though some faced long drives to return home, the consensus was, “This was worth it!”
Plans are already underway for next year’s conference: "Living Upright in an Upside Down World" on November 13-14, 2025, with keynote speaker Pastor Nathan Mestler focusing on messages from the book of Daniel. Put it on your calendar!
